Mississauga Sailing Club

The fun and friendly competition you will find at MSC makes our club racing program one of the most enjoyable aspects of membership. The club has a full racing schedule, with twice weekly on the water activities starting in the middle of May running through to early October.  Our season is broken up into four separate "series", spring, summer, fall and Sunday, with the top three spots of each series recognized at our annual general meeting. Thursday evening races start 7:00 pm sharp, and during the long days of June and July the race committee will try to get two races in. Sunday racing starts at 1:00pm.

In addition to the regular club races, MSC also hosts several regatta's each year. Our premier events are the Cross Boarder One Design (C-BOD) and Wayfarer/CL 16 regattas which usually include visitors from other clubs. Each fall the club runs the Moe Fraaser long distance race, a one day, 12 mile race that is a club favorite. MSC also hosts several one day multi-race regattas primarily geared for our members.

In addition to the above, MSC has recently hosted the Buccaneer 18 North American, and Wayfarer North American Championships, Wayfarer World Championship and Hobie 14 North Americans.
